Egi Pro Squid Restrictions

New South Wales Squid Bag Limit

New South Wales Squid Fishing Overview

NSW Department of Primary Industries has restrictions on the bag limit for Squid & Cuttlefish which are grouped together and you can possess 20 in total (not 20 of each). NSW has a Possession limit as well as a Bag limit so understanding how both of these work is in your best interest.

When fishing in NSW waters, both freshwater and saltwater, you are required by law to pay the NSW Recreational Fishing Fee and carry a receipt showing the payment of the fee. This applies when spear fishing, hand lining, hand gathering, trapping, bait collecting and prawn netting or when in possession of fishing gear in, on or adjacent to waters.
